About Rusty

Guitarist, composer, painter, poet... Rusty lives in Sault Ste. Marie and regularly travels to work on music projects. As capable of playing Jazz & Blues as he is charting a string section for a film score, he is an artist with many styles.

Rusty is currently working on his second CD due out spring of 08. And his CD, Crusty Christmas is due this dec.

His studio The REC.ROOM is hard at work -engineering last years 'dirty river', local Marc Dunns "Clay Rooster",Soocoustic, and his score for BRAVO TV's " Othello".

Rusty has been busy last year playing with Mary margaret O'hara (M2OH) in the UK, appearing on CTV's Canada's Walk of Fame , at the Edmonton Folk Festival. and with Gerome Godboo at Sudburys Summerfest.

Rusty has played with many other recording artists such as Allanah Myles, The Cameo Blues Band, In addition he has worked as musical director (MD) of many Toronto shows backing up many artists including this years St Pats at the Horseshoe included Catherine Ohara, and Justine Rutledge, Russell DeCarle and in the past Dan Ackroyd, Jim Belushi, Tom Cochran, Holly Cole, Molly Johnson have all shared the stage.

Rusty runs a Wednsday nite blues jam at local club 'the Watertower' wih his great band DIRTY RIVER, and he plays 'Jazz at the Docks' with the Northern Jazz Ensemble on Thursday evenings.
